Rwabuhinga Francis, Director of Conservation Education for The Kasiisi Project/Kibale Forest Schools Program,  who was recently awarded the 2013 IPS Southwick Conservation Committment Award,  has also been honored by the American  Society of Primatologists with their 2013 Conservation Award, which provides recognition and financial support for students and young investigators from habitat countries who demonstrate potential for making significant and continuing contributions to primate conservation.

Francis was also named Conservation Educator of the month for June by the Primate Education Network.
