Ugandan Educators Exchange Visit, April-May 2007
Kasiisi Primary School, Fort Portal and St Maria Goretti Secondary Schools, Makerere University

For 10 years, Principal Margaret McQuillan and Field School in Weston MA have partnered with Kasiisi Primary School near Fort Portal in western Uganda, pictured above. The first visit by Weston school staff to Kasiisi School came in the summer of 2005. Since then, support of our partner schools has been expanding and increasing in many ways. Our latest initiative, sponsored very generously by Weston, was to bring six educators and teachers from Uganda on an exchange visit to Weston in late April and early May 2007. Welcome, Uganda! was an event of a lifetime for our visitors and for us.
