Joshua joined the KFSP team in 2022. He obtained his bachelors’ degree in Social and Entrepreneurial Forestry from Makerere University where he majored in Commercial Forestry. He graduated from Iruhuura Primary school and Alliance Secondary School Ibanda. He is passionate about planting and protecting indigenous tree species like Khaya anthotheca, Maesopsis eminii, Mitragyna speciosa and Milicia excelsa that both sequester carbon and provide an economic benfit to poor families. Prior to KFSP, Joshua worked with the Jane Goodall Institute and Wildlife Conservation Society. Joshua is married and enjoys watching soccer and African magic movies outside of work.
