Gorret Nyabutono attained her diploma in Management of Wildlife Resources and Protected areas in 2016 from Kihingami Vocational Eco-Tourism Training Institute in Fort Portal. Ever since, she has worked with Kibale Forest Schools Program as the Conservation Education Education Assistant. Gorret works to promote conservation through teaching the community and school children living around Kibale National Park through programs that support conservation, care for the environment, and more sustainable ways of living. In March 2020, she enrolled in Mountains of the Moon University for a Certificate in Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Management. She says that, “Working with Kasiisi Project has honestly changed my entire life and has deepened my passion for conservation."
